Pakistan lead Bangladesh by 296 runs

KHULNA (APP) – Pakistan were dismissed for 628 in their first innings shortly before lunch on the fourth day of the first Test against Bangladesh in Khulna on Friday.

Bangladesh, who made 332 in their first innings after winning the toss, trail by 296 runs with five sessions remaining in the match.

Asad Shafiq (83) and Sarfraz Ahmed (82) carried their overnight partnership to 126 after Pakistan resumed at 537-5.

Left-arm spinner Taijul Islam claimed six wickets for 163 runs.
