JHANG (Staff Report) – Pakistan Rah-e-Haq party outclassed the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) in Jhang local bodies election on Saturday, becoming the second major party in district after Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N).
The party was founded by Maulana Ahmad Ludhiyanvi, a noted religious leader having close ties with Ahl-e-Sunnat Wal Jamaat (ASWJ).
According to unofficial and inconclusive election results of district Jhang independent candidates won 95, PML-N secured 56 while Pakistan Rah-e-Haq party has bagged 12 seats.
