ISLAMABAD – The situation remains tense in the capital as Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) continued its protests in Islamabad for this consecutive day on Saturday, and now Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur has sparked speculation and raised questions regarding his status, including concerns about a possible arrest.

Reports shared by several activists and journalists claimed that CM Gandapur has been removed from party WhatsApp groups. Party spokesman is yet to confirm the development and to clarify the position on it.

Barrister Saif, Adviser to the KP CM on Information, said Gandapur was reportedly in the company of his staff when Rangers entered the KP House. This has led to heightened scrutiny and uncertainty about his whereabouts and involvement in the ongoing demonstrations.

The situation remains tense as PTI leaders and supporters rally in the capital, with Gandapur’s absence fueling rumors within political circles. Observers are closely monitoring developments, as the political landscape shifts in response to the ongoing protests and internal party dynamics.

As tensions rise within the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) party, opposition leader Umar Ayub has alleged that Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur has been taken into illegal custody. This claim comes as Shaukat Yousafzai confirmed that Gandapur was present at the KP House, engaged in negotiations with the administration.

Reports from indicate that a significant force of police and Rangers arrived at the KP House with a prisoner van, heightening speculation about Gandapur’s arrest.
