QUETTA – An organised group in Quetta’s Sheikh Zayed Hospital was reportedly running a prostitution ring; the matter surfaced as a whistleblower staffer approached provincial authorities in the country’s southwestern region.
The unidentified nurse, in her complaint, revealed that an organized gang has been forcing healthcare professionals of the state-run medical facility into prostitution.
Following the shocking revelations by the staff member, Balochistan Chief Minister Abdul Quddus Bizenjo has taken note of the incident and sought a report from the concerned authorities.
The whistleblower woman said the influential racket members threatened if anyone refuse to be part of it, and revealed that those who join them, received a good amount of money besides having additional resources in the hospital.
Meanwhile, authorities approached the whistleblower nurse to reveal the identities of the individuals running the prostitution racket, and was promised security for her testimony.
