ISLAMABAD – A police officer was arrested for allegedly sexually abusing and torturing child beggars in Islamabad.
According to the media reports, Sub-Inspector Sahib Pasha, from Thana Shams Colony in Islamabad, was held for allegedly abusing and torturing two child beggars, aged 12 and 11.
Pasha illegally detained the children for two days without recording any entry in the police records.
He allegedly subjected them to physical abuse using shoes and sticks. Police sources revealed that Pasha was caught red-handed by patrolling police while abusing the children in his car.
A case has been registered against him at Karachi Company Police Station, confirmed DIG Ali Raza.
