JHANG (Staff Report) – Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif on Friday inaugurated the construction work of 1230-megawatt gas power project in Haveli Bahadur Shah near Jhang.
Punjab Governor Malik Muhammad Rafique Rajwana, Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif, and Chinese Ambassador in Pakistan Sun Weidong were also present on the occasion.
The project will be completed in 2017 and will go a long way in overcoming power shortage in the country and boosting industrial production.
A total saving of thirty seven billion rupees will be made through transparency and better management of this project.
The plant, after completion, will save a huge amount of 6.6 six billion rupees every year through its outstanding production capability.
