CHENNAI – Afghanistan created history on Monday by beating Pakistan for the first time in a World Cup match.
Afghanistan beat Pakistan by 8 wickets in the 22nd match of the ongoing ICC World Cup 2023 in the Indian city of Chennai.
Beleaguered Pakistan won the toss and decided to bat first against Afghanistan in today’s game which is a challenging task of resurrecting a faltering campaign in the Cricket World Cup.
Pakistan were 282 at the end of their innings. Afghanistan chased the target in 49 overs at the loss of 2 wickets.
