ISLAMABAD – A Spanish diplomat has been found dead at his residence in F-7 II area of Islamabad, the police officials said on Thursday morning.
Initial findings suggested the diplomat identified as John Jenner had committed suicide. A 38-bore pistol was also recovered near the dead body.
Officials said the Spanish diplomat was living in Islamabad for last 32 years. He had married twice but was divorced. He was also receiving medical treatment at a private hospital.
“John Jenner had only one worker at his residence who used to leave his house at the night,” the police said, while adding that further investigation was still underway.
