Revolutionary app for Pakistani musicians launched with a hilarious ad

LAHORE – While there are ample platforms for artists to distribute their music in Pakistan, there are not many networking platforms to connect budding musicians and industry veterans.

A mobile application called Jambro has officially arrived in Pakistan to solve issues faced by the young and budding musicians.

A few months ago, Jasir Abro, a filmmaker and sound engineer had teamed up with Grocode, a marketing optimisation agency, to bridge the industry with aspiring artists. The group, which consists of Abro, Grocode CEO Rishadullah Shaikh, Ali Kazmi and Rehan Baig had promised to launch the app officially.
