Sephora is launching makeup classes for the transgender community

PARIS-  Sephora is a French chain of cosmetics stores founded in 1969. Featuring nearly 300 brands, along with its own private label, Sephora offers beauty products including makeup, skincare, body, fragrance, nail color, and hair care. Now, there are multiple stores of Sephora all over the world.

In 2016, Sephora launched Classes for Confidence, free in-store classes for people, according to the beauty related site “facing major life transitions.”  last year the company introduced a campaign to include the people in their management who were battling cancer or any other disease.

This year Sephora has announced to start in shop beauty classes for the transgender community. The classes will be given by the  Sephora’s own transgender employees and these classes will let people understand the diversity of different skin types, makeup techniques and products that are available in the market.

“Attendees can expect to receive skincare regimens tailored to their specific needs, application techniques for creating a smooth texture and color-correcting areas of concern, as well as best practices for creating a flawless complexion using Sephora’s Color IQ system for scientifically-precise product recommendations,” a press release explains.

The Classes will be offered at 150 locations and if there is no Sephora shop near then the people can watch the tutorials on youtube channel.

We highly appreciate such acts by the brands and it will surely help Transgenders in building their confidence and skills!
