ICC World Cup 2019: Full schedule, ticket details, teams revealed

DUBAI – The International Cricket Council (ICC) will formally announce the full schedule for the Cricket World Cup 2019 in England and Wales on Thursday.

The World Cup will be held between May 30 and July 14  next year.

A total of 10 teams will play 48 matches in the mega event. Tickets and their prices and sale times will also be announced on icc-cricket.com and social channels.

Australia, Bangladesh, England, India, New Zealand, Pakistan, South Africa and Sri Lanka confirmed their place at the mega tournament owing to their ICC ODI rankings on the cut-off date of September 30, 2017.

West Indies and Afghanistan, who booked their spot in the World Cup through the World Cup Qualifier in March, complete the lineup.

The big clash between Pakistan and India will take place on June 16 in Manchester.

The match between the arch-rivals is considered to be the best during any tournament and the ICC mostly pits them together in any tournament.

Pakistan beat India last year to clinch Champions Trophy 2017.
