Only McDonald s in the world with a blue logo in Sedona, Arizona

The “Golden Arches” McDonald’s logo is famous across the globe due to the food chain’s connotation towards being the ultimate comfort food.

But a shocking revelation has surfaced on the web that there is one place in the world where the logo is bluish-green instead of its signature yellow shade.

McDonald’s enjoys an immense fan following across the globe and the peculiar logo caught the eyes of fast food lovers as it became a major tourist attraction.

The McDonald’s outlet in the city of Sedona, Arizona, has become a tourist favourite destination thanks to its unique bluish-green logo.

Located amidst a picturesque backdrop of red rock all around, the presence of the striking landscape is cited as the major reason for the local authorities to set rules for all buildings constructed in the Sedona.

According to the rules and regulations, no structure should intrude the view of the red rock mountains in Sedona. Thus, the yellow logo was switched to turquoise blue in order to blend better with the idyllic environment.

Back in 1993, when the Sedona McDonald’s opened its doors for the first time, the blue arches were regarded as a worthwhile compromise by the owners, but later it proved to be great for business in the long run.

Sedona continues to enforce special laws that regulate sign brightness, exterior lighting and the colours of building materials in order to preserve the natural beauty of the area.
