‘They check each and everything’: Saba Qamar speaks of humiliation at int’l airports
LAHORE – Pakistani actress Saba Qamar broke down into tears while sharing her experience regarding security checks, specifically for Pakistanis, at international airports.

Qamar opened up in a program on a private TV channel here the other day and revealed the humiliation faced by green passport holders.

She said, "I cannot explain the way they [security officers] carried out checking," adding, "I feel so humiliated when they check each and everything”.

"When I went to Tbilisi for shooting of a film, all Indian crew members were allowed to go without checking, but I was stopped due to my Pakistani passport. They allowed me to go after a long interrogation," she shared her experience.

Moreover while narrating her experience she said, “That day I realised this is the respect we get. This is our position. Where do we stand?”

Saba is known for her work in many dramas including Udaan, Maat, Digest Writer, Yahan Pyaar Nahi Hai, Dastaan, Baaghi among countless others. She made her debut Bollywood opposite Irrfan Khan in Hindi Medium.
