Kulsoom Nawaz discharged from hospital

LONDON - Kulsoom Nawaz, the wife of former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, has been discharged from a hospital in London where she was undergoing treatment.

Her daughter, Maryam Nawaz, announced on micro-blogging site Twitter that her mother is fine and is recovering at home. “Ami is better, discharged from the hospital & back home,” she wrote.

She also said that her mother will undergo further treatment including chemotherapy next week. Kulsoom Nawaz was recently diagnosed with a curable form of lymphoma.
