PFA seals 5 oil mills using dead animal’s fats
LAHORE (Staff Report) - Punjab Food Authority on Friday raided the oil extraction units situated in the area of Crawl Ghatti near Ring Road.
The extraction units were using dead animal’s fats to produce oil of big brands.
PFA Director (Operations) Ayesha Mumtaz, accompanied by Special joint team of PFA, raided the units. According to a PFA spokesman, FIRs have also been registered against the owners of these units in Police Choki Crawl Ghatti, adding that seven persons were arrested from the oil extraction units.
