Four including a woman killed in Mastung gun attack

QUETTA - Four people including a woman were killed while another person was left injured on Wednesday when unidentified assailants opened fire at a car near Mastung district of Balochistan.

The tragic incident happened when a vehicle heading to Karachi from Quetta came under attack. The attackers managed to flee the scene.

Police and resume teams reached the area and took the dead to a hospital in Mastung while the injured was shifted to the facility in Quetta.

The deceased were members of the same family, hailing from Hazara region in Balochistan.

The police have launched investigations into the probe.

On the other hand, Balochistan Home Minister Sarfaraz Bugti strongly condemned the incident and termed it "against the social and tribal norms of Balochistan".
