Shah Rukh Khan lands himself in some serious trouble, could face legal charges for causing fan’s death
As part of the promotional run for his movie Raees, Shah Rukh Khan had undertaken a railway journey from Mumbai to New Delhi aboard the August Kranti Rajdhani Express. As a result of the 15,000-strong mob that gathered to catch a glimpse of the star, one person, Farid Khan Pathan was reported to have died of a heart attack due to congestion.

SRK has called the incident "unfortunate" along with the deceased's family members saying that they have nothing against the actor. However, a report filed by Deputy Superintendent of Police (Western Railway) Tarun Barot asserts that King Khan could face some serious legal charges under the device of negligence - if the superstar hadn't incited the crowd by throwing t-shirts and other objects, the incident would not have occurred and led to the sad tragedy.

"If Shah Rukh Khan had not thrown T-shirts, balls and other things towards the public, then such an incident would not have occurred,” the report stated. “Thus, the owner of Excel Entertainment Pvt Ltd Mumbai and film actor Shah Rukh Khan should be booked under the IPC sections 279 (rash and negligent act), 336 (act endangering life or personal safety of others), 337 (causing hurt by act endangering life or personal safety of others), 338 (causing grievous hurt by act endangering life or personal safety of others), 304a2 (causing death by negligence) and sections of Railway Act 145,152,175 and 179."
