Khunjerab Pass reopens for trade, travel activities on Monday

ISLAMABAD - Pak-China border at Khunjarab Pass will be opened tomorrow (Monday) for trade and travel activities.

According to Protocol signed between China and Pakistan in 1985, the border is closed for traffic due to snowfall on November 30 and opened in 1st of April every year.

Official sources said the staff of Customs, Immigration and other relevant departments arrived at Sost in Upper Hunza to join their duties.

However, due to holiday on Sunday, flag hoisting ceremony will be held in Sost on Monday.
