Undeterred Imran Khan addresses media in Bani Gala, reiterates Nov 2nd's lockdown
ISLAMABAD - Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf chairman Imran Khan on Friday addressed the party workers in Bani Gala and reiterated his party's plans to lock down federal capital on 2nd of November.

"Neither the police nor the government could stop him from holding a protest in Islamabad on November 2," Khan said defiantly.

Addressing party workers hours after being placed on house-arrest, Imran asked what law had he violated for him to be placed on house arrest.

“I ask the judiciary why was I stopped from going to Sheikh Rashid’s rally in Rawalpindi.”

Appealing to the Punjab and Islamabad police, Khan asserted that their salaries were paid by the taxpayers and not the Sharifs.

Urging party workers to get ready for November 2nd's lockdown, Khan went on to say  "We will show what peoples power is and change the destiny of the country. Nawaz Sharif I will demand your accountability until I am alive," Khan said.

Khan said that his party’s target was November 2. "Wait for November 2, even 50,000 policemen will not be able to stop the tsunami."

“I will 100 percent appear before the Supreme Court on November 1,” Khan said, adding that he would consult with lawyers about before producing himself in the Islamabad High Court.

Khan said the planning for November 2 was taking place in Bani Gala.

Earlier today, a magistrate had personally visited Bani Gala to inform Imran Khan that he has been placed under house arrest.

The Judge Ali Javed handed over the notice of court and reportedly barred the party chief in unequivocal terms to not to step out of his residence, adding that the latter was not to be handcuffed if he respects the imposed house-arrest.

Last night, police and Federal Constabulary (FC) had put road blocks outside the residence of Imran Khan in Islamabad.
